ŠILO-VRBNIK trip

From Silo harbour, we head along the coast towards the fishing hut and the lighthouse. Rounding the peninsula, we continue to discover more and more beautiful bays. The town of Crikvenica and the villages opposite are almost within arm’s reach. In front of one of the most beautiful bays you can see the remains of a Roman villa, a 6th century Byzantine fortress.

Murvenica beach with a slowly deepening, sandy bottom, pebbly beach, a small sandy beach, ideal for children. Super clear water, excellent for snorkelling, kayaking. A real gem.

Petrina beach is one of our favourites, a natural shaded cove between the hills, partly covered with trees. It is a beautiful bay with crystal clear water and golden sand, with lots of curious fish to meet while swimming. With our brave guests we can swim into a cave, and the more adventurous can jump off a cliff. A popular boat anchorage.

Sv.Marak beach You can walk down from Risika, one of the best known beaches on the island. Its sandy beach, slowly deepening clear water and shady resting places make it a favourite with young and old alike. It has a beach bar, restaurant and large car park.

The small bay of Plaza Javna is accessed by a narrow one-lane road with limited parking.
